I know the best bears. The greatest.
We last heard from the Throne back in May, before all his rules got changed up. He’s better now, so even more incentive to finish. I’m at the stage where I need to base him (I have a skull-covered 120mm base coming) and matte varnish him, then put silver on all the filigree. The sorceress also need painted, but I think she’ll be fast, as she’s a normal sized model (and a Patrick Keith sculpt – always fun to paint).
Bunch of stuff I’ve been working on. I know if I try to make individual posts for each it’ll never happen, so here’s the big blob of them.
Throne of Everblight. Holy crap this thing is big and complex.
Saxon Orrik, to give my MOW Shocktroopers Pathfinder
Ragman, for when POW 19 isn’t sufficient
Micro Arts Studio Buses and Bus Stops
I visited my parents for a week, and got in some painting.
Basically finished stuff (except for basing):
A pair of Blighted Nyss Shepherds. I already have one painted, but I apparently forgot to take a picture of her, so these two look different.
Nephilim Bloodseer. Painted in standard Legion Warbeast/Nephilim colors
Wild West Missionary from Reaper. He’s been sitting at 90% for a couple years.
Questing Knight Princess Malya. Another “almost done” that finally got finished off.
I got her a day before release at the Reaper Store. Spent some time at Reaper Paint Club working on her, including getting tips from Anne Foerster.
