Sprayed down with matte sealer, then washed with thinned down blue ink.

What have I done to myself? I got a bunch of my Raging Heroes troops assembled, converted and primed, along with associated P3 figures.
In no particular order: 2 units of Doom Reaver Swordsmen including UA (one P3 model, one RH). Fenris, his dismount, a RH version of Fenris and a unit of Blighted Nyss Hex Hunters. At least on the Doom Reavers I’m going to have to find a way to force myself to paint them with a decent amount of speed or they’ll never get done.
After being out of town for nearly two weeks, I’m back in the painting groove attempting to hit 30 points this month. The first batch of finished minis are a pair of Blight Nyss Sorceresses and their Hellion mounts.
Colors are my standard Legion of Everblight scheme – I did more work with the airbrush this time, in particular the blends to Snow Shadow on the top of the Hellion were done with the airbrush. The other thing I did was a bit more edge highlighting. The skulls are from GW’s new box of skulls – very convenient to clip off a few and glue them to the base.
Pictures were taken with my new Surface Pro 2017 with HDR mode enabled. HDR makes the pictures look a bit nicer but stretch the contrast a bit more than reality. Compare:
I started painting this pair quite some time ago, putting into practice some of the technique I learned in Jen Greenwald’s class on painting whites. I finally put the finishing touches on them last night. Now I want to play a cool psychic character. I don’t even know if they get familiars or anything.
